Loved the ambience of the old school and the rooms. The rooms were clean and very comfortable and the location convenient to Dublin City Centre.
While not a complaint, but only an observation, when we arrived about 11am, we were told the two rooms allocated to our party (four adults) would not be ready until 1pm. About 1pm we returned to be advised that they were still not ready. We were given an option; wait longer or take clean rooms in the basement. My mother is 84 years old and to prevent her waiting any longer, we took the basement rooms. Unfortunately they were fairly dark and obviously without a reasonable view. The only other comment I would make was that one of the female reception staff could have been a little friendlier and smiled more. We all agreed that we felt as thought our questions about the hotel and services were somewhat bothersome to her.

This hotel was very central,so very good location if you want to shop yet also very quiet and relaxed.old world charm and the old style decor of the dining room was really nice.
The promise of a king sized bed proved rather disappointing as we ended up with two beds pushed together and a sheet joining both!!a good sized double bed would have been far more comfortable.

Special brand-new hotel with a contemporary atmosphere and a main bar. Substantial breakfast fOR MEAT EATERS with attentive and highly courteous staff. Peaceful setting in the nice quiet area, so close to Dublin as well as the theatre.

It was ok. Sadly, we were a bit "under-whelmed" with this hotel. Can't really put my finger on it, but that was the way it was. We did not dine there, other than breakfast I should add.
Breakfast was not as I expected. Not sure what a full Irish is supposed to be. No hash browns, no beans, had to ask for tomato and toast. Background music often too loud and if you do not like Dean Martin, this room is not for you.

Very nice room, nice hotel. Very helpful staff. We arrived very early but the hotel allowed us to leave our luggage and stored it for us. The room was large and very comfortable.
The only downside is the location. There are very few restaurants or shops near by -- you have to walk quite a distance to get to the downtown area, but it is not a bad walk and the area near Marrion Square is nice and quiet at night. There is a nice restaurant and a bistro at the hotel, so you don't need to leave the hotel.

Friendly service, stylish interior, nice decor, good breakfast
Our room was in the basement floor and was a little bit stuffy. The airconditioning was not easy to regulate but the staff was very helpful.

Save your time
The charm of this converted school is appealing, but the management seems to overlook critical aspects like parking and room cleanliness. The restaurant excels in atmosphere but lacks extensive menu options. Trust your instincts and consider other accommodations for a smoother stay in the city.

quirky property, has extraordinarily friendly and amiable staff particularly at breakfast and at reception desk. absolutely superb breakfasts with really nice brown soda. great and lovely location in a more quite residential area and easy access to the main shopping center and stores. again, walking distance to national print museum.

Location, structure, comfortable room, helpful staff
Maneuvering with luggage would be difficult for someone with health issues.

Very comfortable hotel with friendly staff, who went out of their way to be helpful. Well located, with an easy walk into town in a pleasant district. Restaurant looked good but we ate in the bar, which had a good choice of food and a great atmosphere. Would definitely choose this hotel again.
